I like the KJV better as well. "By His will" seems like a statement of the obvious. "For His pleasure" is loaded with implications that hail back to the earliest Scripture: the Book of Job, in which God speaks of all the wonders of the cosmos He created.

Dean, I agree that the meaning of natural beauty is that it shows God's divine nature.

To me it also shows what God enjoys. Rev. 4:11 speaks of God creating for His good pleasure (KJV). (The modern translations say for His will He created, but that sounds too technical to me) I really believe God enjoys the beauty of His creation more even than we do. I love fly-fishing in a small NC mountain stream, clear as crystal, rushing over rocks and plunging down into pools. I say that catching a trout is a bonus because I go just to "be there". I enjoy the sights, sounds, smells, etc.

I love hiking through and to hear the beautiful call of a Wood Thrush, and to spot a surprised White Tailed Deer bounding through the forest with grace and beauty.

I love to see a Tiger Swallow Tail sipping nectar from a flower, and fog rolling in from a valley.

If I being fallen but redeemed with my limited appreciation of beauty, just thing how God must respond to His own created beauty. I believe He created the natural beauty for Himself as well as for us. I sure am glad, aren't you?
